Substance Abuse Counselor - Sterling, CO
Provide standardized offender assessments, group therapy, participate in treatment planning for individual offenders, and support the therapeutic communities throughout the CDOC. Provide intensive outpatient treatment and relapse prevention, assist in the coordination of self-help support groups, and provide transitional assistance for offenders leaving the CDOC. Certified Addiction Counselors, level II or III, deliver Drug and Alcohol treatment to offender population in accordance with ADAD guidelines. Maintain individual treatment files and document treatment activities, and collaborate with clinical services team, to include Mental Health and Sex Offender treatment teams.
Education: Must have a bachelors degree in the behavioral health field. You must attach a copy of your official transcripts to have your application considered.
