Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Clinical Director Philadelphia, PA
We are looking for a Licensed Clinical Social work-Clinical Director for our medical facility in Philadelphia, PA. We are seeking an experienced licensed clinician who has a Masters Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, public administration, business management or other related field such as a LCSW. Ideally, the candidate should be a licensed professional with administrative/clinical supervision experience in the SUDs space.
This is a full-time position, helping our medical treatment facility and providing leadership and management responsibilities, supervision responsibilities, as well as clinical responsibilities carrying a relatively small patient case load. The incoming Clinician/Director will cover both of our facilities, Center city Philadelphia and Media, PA.

Clinical Director Management Responsibilities:
Provides facility monitoring activities, direct observation, staff meetings/ in-services trainings, management meetings, individual meetings, staff improvement processes and annual performance reviews
Ensures timely delivery and effectiveness of all clinical and assessment services
Ensures a safe, well maintained, and clean facility for both clients and employees
Liaison with contract agencies, outside agencies and other community programs 5. Liaison with existing and potential referral funding sources for enhancement of facility revenue opportunities
Inspects facility to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, contractual obligations and Companys policies and procedures
Represents our treatment facility at the community level attending networking and educational opportunities, when necessary
Reviews financial reports including budgets, statistics and projection reports
Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans and program improvement

Supervision Responsibilities:
Supervises clinical staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
Oversees the hiring, training and supervision of all clinical staff
Oversees the intake process to ensure documentation is present and accurate
Oversees management of all clinical operations including counselors, administration, and maintaining a therapeutic milieu
Directing, planning, and implementing policies, objectives, and activities to increase productivity
Reviewing reports prepared and submitted by staff members to recommend approval or to suggest changes (e.g. return to work, Board communication, etc)
Analyzing operations to evaluate performance, determine areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, and policy changes

Clinical Responsibilities:
Thorough understanding of facility treatment program and philosophy, admission process and criteria, support and administrative services, working knowledge of various aspects of alcoholism, drug abuse and dual diagnosis
Carrying a relatively small caseload of individual, group or family cases
Promoting the philosophy of the organization, ensuring proper implementation of accepted clinical practices strategies
Interpreting and presenting reports regarding program operations, evaluation of service and utilization of resources
Providing initial and ongoing assessment of program needs and resources through quality improvement activities such as standardized screening tools
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with state boards and other monitoring agencies and outside recovery support providers
Providing representation and consultation with other outside professionals to facilitate coordination, collaboration and cooperation between the agency and the community such as MAT providers, psychiatrists, and other co-occurring providers
Qualifications:
A Masters Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, public administration, business management or other related field such as a LCSW
At least 5 years of experience in a human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting, which includes supervision of others, direct service and program planning
Administrative/clinical supervision experience in the SUDs space
Eligible for certification as an addictions counselor by a statewide certification body which is a member of a National certification body or certification by another state governments substance abuse counseling certification board.
Schedule:
9 am -5 pm
Some evening work (but will compensate for time)
Salary:
$80k-$100k annually
